Malian New Materials Shines at SWOP 2025 Shanghai
Co-creating the Industry Blueprint with Innovative Color Solutions
From November 25th to 27th, the 10th SWOP (Packaging World Shanghai) was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This edition set a new scale record, boasting an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters and gathering over 950 leading enterprises from around the globe. Having cultivated the packaging industry for a decade, SWOP has established itself as a core hub for Asia's packaging sector. The exhibition focused on full chain innovation encompassing “Equipment, Materials, Products, Design, and Marketing,” with a deep emphasis on cutting edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), intelligent solutions, and sustainable packaging. On this platform renowned as the “International Flagship Event of the Packaging Industry,” it attracted over 40,000 professional visitors from across the world. Industry leaders converged to jointly explore the future development directions of the packaging sector.

Led by Huang Kunyu, General Manager of the Color Masterbatch Division, Malian, as a professional supplier in the masterbatch industry, showcased its latest achievements in sustainable packaging materials and intelligent color solutions under the theme of "Innovation, Environmental Protection, and Customization."
Throughout the exhibition, Malian's booth attracted a continuous flow of visitors, engaging with and receiving consultations from over 200 clients cumulatively over the three days. Concurrently, Malian's sales team held multiple in depth technical exchanges with industry experts and partners from around the world, with functional masterbatches being a key focus of discussion. To address the diversified material performance demands of the packaging industry, our company's series of functional masterbatches not only provide precise and stable color performance but also impart additional properties to packaging materials, such as UV resistance, high barrier properties, and anti-static capabilities.
Participating in this exhibition allowed Malian not only to display its latest technological achievements but also to gain a profound understanding of the ongoing transformation within the packaging industry. Stringent environmental regulations, evolving consumer preferences, and accelerated technological innovation are collectively driving the upgrading and restructuring of the entire industry chain. At the event, Malian reached preliminary cooperation intentions with several potential partners.
It is noteworthy that the packaging industry is currently facing multiple pressures, including efficiency enhancement, environmental transformation, and cost optimization. As a critical component of packaging materials, color masterbatches can play a unique role in addressing these challenges helping clients reduce overall costs through material innovation, enhancing product added value with color solutions, and supporting the industry's sustainable development through eco friendly technologies.
